Traditional clogs were made of wood and are associated with the Netherlands and Sweden. Which is where they should’ve stayed. The now, somehow popular, half boot, half slipper creation became popular in the 70’s and 80’s for men and women.

#8 Topless Sandals
These strapless flip-flops are odd, to say the least. They attach to your feet with an adhesive, making it appear as if you’re barefoot. What’s the difference between this and taping cardboard to the bottom of your feet? If we wanted to look like we’re walking around barefoot, we’d take off our shoes.

We know, these oversized sheepskin boots keep your feet toasty warm, and comfortable too, but they’re still ugg-ly. From generic sheepshearer’s boots in Australia, to everyday beachwear for surfers, models and teenagers that wear them with mini-skirts - we don’t see the connection.

These transparent shoes were first made in Europe after World War II, when there was a leather shortage. How they survived to this day, we have no idea.

Popular in the 70’s these sandals were made of wood, had a thin strap of leather across your toes and slapped you on the bottom of your heel when you walked. Oh yeah, they were supposed to be for comfort, go figure.

A German brand of sandals, they supposedly meld to the shape of your foot. The only thing that might improve this bad trend, wearing them sans socks.

It doesn’t matter who makes them, it doesn’t matter how you wear them, nothing can save these boots. Wear them only if you want to look like you’re wearing a yeti on your lower legs.

Oh, it’s true! Crocs are possibly the worst shoe trend in the history of shoes. How they became popular, boggles our minds. Sure they may be comfortable, or practical, but the declining sales and stock of the company, only prove that this trend, is thankfully over.
